Uploading blood test results (PDF)
How Vogelview reads your lab PDF.
What we accept
- PDF reports from Quest, Labcorp, Sonora Quest, BioReference, hospital labs, and most US/international clinical labs.
- CSV exports from patient portals.
- Photos of paper reports (we OCR them).
What we extract
We pull biomarker name, value, units, and reference range from each line. After parsing, you'll see what we extracted and what didn't make it — you can correct any values before generating the report.
What if we missed values?
- Edit the parsed values directly on the upload-review screen.
- If 25%+ of the report is unparsed, please email us the redacted PDF so we can improve the parser.
Privacy
Your PDF is encrypted at upload, parsed server-side, then the raw file is kept for 30 days before automatic deletion (unless you choose longer retention in settings).
